When the intake valve is opened, the pressure in the cylinder is lower than the atmospheric pressure, and the air enters the cylinder through the intake valve. After the intake valve is closed, the top of the piston is adjacent to the cylinder, and the air in the cylinder is compressed. Two. The working principle of the exhaust valve is similar to that of the intake valve, but its function is to exhaust the engine after combustion. The exhaust valve is usually installed below the camshaft, opposite the intake valve camshaft. The exhaust valve is also opened and closed by the camshaft, and the opening time of the exhaust valve is about 180 degrees. The timing of the exhaust valve is very important.If the exhaust valve is opened too early, it will cause high-temperature and high-pressure gas to enter the exhaust pipe, burn gasoline, and the emitted substances will become harmful gases that have not been completely burned. If the exhaust valve closes too late, it will affect the efficiency of the engine. II. The functional intake and exhaust valve is one of the core components of the engine valve system. Its normal operation will greatly improve the efficiency of the engine. 1. Control the inlet and out of the air. The inlet and outlet valve of the engine can control the inlet and out of the air, thus affecting the output power of the engine. When the engine speed is low, the opening time of the valve will be extended, allowing air to enter more fully and providing sufficient fuel supply, so that the engine has enough power. When the speed increases, the opening time of the valve will be reduced to ensure full combustion without wasting excess fuel. Two.
